JackPot!

I went to Croy Creek Traders fair in the hopes of finding some more cages for my rats. Instead I found two nice sized wash tubs! :D Which I am going to turn into little water gardens! :D I already have reeds in them. I will be adding water lilies, and hopefully water lettuce or water marigolds soon. The bigger of the two has some goldfish in it.
10 common goldfish, actually. I'm not going to invest in any Koi until I know I have it down, and I am not going to kill them. They are so expensive! Oh an pardon how bad the area looks around the tubs. I still need to put down mulch and fix it.

I am also going to add trapdoor snails, freshwater clams, and frogs! :) I really love frogs.

I also picked up a tiny 1 1/2 inch vase for my "Tom Thumb" entry in the fairs flower show. There are 4 boquets in the refrigerator right now. And I have 3 potted entries ready.

I have also been very busy working on terrariums!

As Luck would have it...

As Luck would have it there will be a flower show at the Clay County Fair! I am very excited! I shall be entering 3 terariums in the house plant division, and a flower in the Misc cut flower division, as well as a few of the flower arranging classes. More on that later!

Garden Time

My garden has been going by leaps and bounds. The corn has tasseled. The cucumber vines are covered in yellow blossoms. And we are already getting summer squash and red tomatoes.

I'd also like to note...the blueberries and peaches are being harvested as well. So yes, we have been very, very busy! Pictures to come later.

On an un-gardenish note I have gone Sim crazy! Namely with: www.capalls.com Please come join me. It is the best Horse Sim on the net. :) I promise.
